"To be fair, this review may be more of an 80% State Farm as a whole, 20% location kinda deal. I should have stayed with Geico. State Farm was actually more that Geico, but the selling point was not having to make 2 separate payments for the bike and the cars. For starters, STATE FARM HOLDS YOUR HAND WAY TOO MUCH! Some people may call it being personable, but it gets frustrating really quick depending on your needs. I HATE calling the office! I'd rather be able to do things on the app or website like a normal company! Want to add a car? Gotta call the office. Want to change coverages? Gotta call the office. Want to make a partial payment? Gotta call the office. Speaking of payments, processing payments is HORRIBLE if you're behind. You CANNOT make a partial payment if you're behind. If you run into some extra money and want to slowly chop down that bill, you can't. Either have all the money or don't pay. Not only that, you HAVE to be routed to your policy's location. You just can't speak to any customer service rep. That is an absolute pain if your location is short staffed or has an employee that has no idea what they're doing. They seem to REALLY love that life insurance too!! I let my mine cancel because I no longer needed it since I got it elsewhere, but no matter how many times I let it cancel, it STILL manages to become active again. If you're one of those, "700+ credit score guys who are well off and have a perfect driving record warranting a low rate, never has to check their bank account, doesn't mind calling the office, having sidebar conversations with the employees about your vacation in the Bahamas", then you're probably right at home. If you're just a regular guy making a living getting by, just trying to live, this is NOT the insurance company for you. Also, if you don't like talking to people and prefer doing things with an app, this is also NOT a company for you. S/N, they love to remind you about your payment being past due when you call in voicing your frustrations with the payment structure. It almost feels like their "GOTCHA!" moment. Trust me, this isn't a sour grapes review. This is just a review for people who are in the market for insurance who are like me who may need a friendly warning about what you're going to get. I'm sure the employees are swell people. This company is just not meant for everyone. I pay more than I did with Geico and it's actually more of a hassle than it's worth. Definitely will be switching back. Besides, my cars are ALLLL 15 years old and older and I haven't had a speeding ticket in YEARS. There's no reason my car insurance should be more than a car payment. The fact that they've taken so much money from me without having to spend ANY themselves on me is insulting....but then again....that's ALL insurance companies. Essentially you're speding money on a "maybe"...."

"Mrs. John Bell was my agent.I am writing to formally express my deep concern and dissatisfaction regarding the mishandling of my insurance policy by my assigned State Farm agent, Mrs. John Bell, and the resulting financial and administrative issues caused by actions taken without my consent. In May, I contacted Mrs. John Bell to inquire about adding my daughter to my insurance policy. At the time, I was informed that she could not be added because we do not live in the same household. I accepted that explanation and assumed no changes were made. However, a couple of months later, I was shocked to discover that my account had been charged nearly seven times my regular premium for 2 months. Naturally, I called John Bell for clarification, only to be told that he was unaware of the change and could not help.Also John Bell told me that my daughter had somehow been added to my policy. Despite the fact that I never gave consent or received any notification that such a change had been made. What makes this even more troubling is that my daughter already has her own insurance policy through a different company. This means I was being charged for coverage that was both unnecessary and unauthorized. This experience has left me extremely disappointed and frustrated. I trusted State Farm and my agent to manage my policy responsibly. Instead, I feel I was taken advantage of, ignored, and left with no recourse."

"After going on social media to use one of the links for better insurance quotes, I got multiple calls and texts. I ignored most of them. One being Tre’s. Which was a HUGE mistake! I recently contacted my insurance company since it time for renewal and was told there was nothing they could do to change my $481.89 monthly payments. Then Tre reached out to me again with a detailed quote. Let me just say I was in disbelief. So we set up a time to speak the next day. We went over a few things to that quote and now I can say I am extremely excited and impressed!! Tre lowered my payments to $162.20 a month. Saving me $319 a month!!!! Same auto coverage (2 drivers, 2 Vehicles) PLUS life insurance for my son. I was so upset with myself that I didn’t answer his call months ago. Tre did an awesome job explaining different types of polices that I will be adding in the near future. Thank you so much Tre!! You are the best!"

"Overall I'm incredibly satisfied with John Bell and his team. My rate is lower than it's ever been (while still maintaining high coverage limits), and as a young man that's the most important thing to me. There are two main reasons I highly recommend this office: • The staff is EXCELLENT. These people answer the phone quickly, are friendly, and help you with questions or problems with a good attitude. Very comforting to know that if I ever need to call on my policy, they will be there to help me. • Lowest I've ever paid for car insurance. I opened my policy as a 24 yo male, and with high coverage limits, a bonus little health and life policy.. I'm paying THIRTY PERCENT less than I was paying just for my auto policy in South Carolina. I also shopped around before committing to State Farm and other local VA insurance agencies were quoting me a lot closer to my previous rate in SC. Very thankful for my new rate. The only thing I felt a little unsure about was being talked into bundling a small life and health policy without fully understanding the extra costs. Maybe it is the best deal because of the "bundle savings", but I didn’t actually ask for life or health coverage—it just got added to my quote without a clear cost comparison. I kind of just trusted that the price was “better” or “worth it” because of the bundle. The extra cost seemed small, so I went with it, but I’ll probably take a closer look at it when my renewal comes up to see if it’s really worth the extra $15 a month or whatever it’s costing me. Overall I'm very satisfied with the rate I'm paying and the awesome customer service John's team provides. Shoutout to Tre and Ashley, both of whom have showed care when I have called."
